Her eyes are the same color as Rainbow’s, it seems.

Actually, in an interview that was posted on EQD (Hah, not that anyone cares likely), It was said by the animator that worked on her first appearance that her eyes were in fact Red, and looked different because of colour correction.
 
Some time between that appearance and her puppet being leaked they got changed by another animator to what we see now. Probably because they didn’t like the red, or some other random undisclosed reasoning.
 
But what does it matter? This is canon, and people have been changing things about the characters in their own fanon since day one, someone could maker her eyes green in a story for what it’s worth.

That’s not the fanon I recall. Her eyes were red because she was Cyclops from X-men. The glasses she wore were to protect others from herself.
 
Though really it was just because she looked damn cool with red eyes.

Yeah. She still has rainbow dash’s eyecolor.  
This has been known since pretty much forever.
 
The only reason it was speculated as red for a while was because 1. albinism and vampire headcanons, and 2. because in her initial appearance she never showed her eyes.

The eyes look the same.
