They are vegetarian, that’s canon

@Background Pony #4788
IIRC the whole ethical system of veganism is supposed to based around not exploiting sentient beings, although I wouldn’t be surprised if many modern vegans don’t know shit about that and are just mindlessly attaching themselves to a cause so they can inflate their egos

@The Smiling Pony
Nah, vegans don’t care. If it comes from any kind of animal, it’s not allowed, but if it comes from slave labor done in some impoverished third world country, then that’s a-okay.
afaik vegans don’t care about whether something was sentient or not, is why honey (or mealworm-meat) are off the table.
Silk seems like it would vary from vegan to vegan considering whether silk worms are even sentient or not is debatable
Silk comes from silk worms and wool comes from sheep, so those materials no-goes if you’re a vegan. Taking them doesn’t hurt either animal, - and in fact, domestic sheep can’t shed their wool, so they have to be shorn, or else their wool grows too thick and that can cause a number of health problems, so shearing them is actually beneficial - but they still come from animals, and that’s bad, I guess.

What do clothes have to do with veganism, other than animal hair being used to make some of them?

“They don’t eat meat, because horses”
Yeah, I suppose that, in Equestria, that wouldn’t be too different from true veganism, since most ponies don’t wear clothes very often anyway
But she’s only talking about the vegan diet
true, the first weeks are hard, then it gets easy^^
Especially now with all the fake meat stuff that actually tastes good
Yea, yea, yea. Sooo vegan, that you eat cakes, cheese, eggs, milk, cookies, cupcakes, etc.
You’d be amazed at the things vegan food can imitate. Amazed, and a little horrified.
So, OFC this means if I’m obsessed with TS3 to the point it’s the only thing i can do, then I don’t play it for two weeks, and I don’t need it anymore?
