why isn’t dash a wonderbolt yet  
Because it’s a paramilitary organization, and there’s more to serving in uniform than just being full of adjectives. A grown-ass woman who plummets into externally-destructive emotional collapse over “not having a pet for three months” doesn’t really seem appropriate for a flight officer in a high profile aerial demonstration team that occasionally gets called to duty as a rapid reaction interceptor unit; she’s still got more maturing to do before she’s Wonderbolt material.

Spitfire has seen dash be “fast” and “loyal” and a bunch of other adjectives before, like in “Wonderbolt Academy” and “Rainbow Falls”If spitfire is describing dash as a role model, then why isn’t dash a wonderbolt yet?!

I still say G5 should look like this.

How is continuity weird? A universe is made all that stronger when they build on past work and keep facts constant.

As long as continuity is being reinforced I don’t care whose story is being referenced; this seems more a matter of referring to Dash’s flight camp flashbacks from the show, anyway.

Yeah,god forbid an author reference his own story for the ake of continuity.

It always feels a little weird when writers/artists reference their own past stories preferentially, it draws attention to the “meta” structure of the writing and can affect immersion.
