I keep looking at this, and I want to ask, why doesn’t the elegant music mare get the Exorcist, the elegant music tank of pipe organ doom? It’s even the proper faction.
@SingleCrystal
If I was to do an update for the Sisters of Battle, I’d start by making the ‘Acts of Faith’ work like the Imperial Guard’s orders.
So you’d be able to use 1 per commander on a friendly unit per turn instead of the current and previous ideas which were overly complex.
After that, they need a proper battle tank with some ranged firepower.
A copy of the Marine’s devastator unit for some more ranged firepower.
A good, fast moving close combat unit would also help.
Something like the Seraphim jump units, but equipped with power weapons and pistols.
I think a bike unit would be a fun idea too.
If I remember correctly, they got the Lightning fighter in the update.
This probably isn’t a bad choice, but a specific fighter dedicated to the sisters would be better.
@40kponyguy
Avenger strike fighters should be included in the regular codex. As far as flyers go they’re just adequate, hardly overpowered because of paper armor, but the sororitas can use every single help as of now.
@40kponyguy
Give Flutterbat the Khorne theme army then, because they are all about blood. Blood Angels are less focused on the blood thing actually. Blood is only part of their armor and their curse.
@Aperture_pony
Already got another pony lined up for the Blood Angels.
Red Thirst = Vampirism.
Hence, I’m pairing them with Flutterbat.
Don’t know whether to do this one next actually….
Shame about the Sisters of Battle in game.
The only update they got since 3rd edition was a joke.
“I know, let’s take the only real firepower they can have off them (the land raider. Yes, with Inquisition support you could use land raiders with Sisters of Battle), then we’ll hit their ‘Acts of Faith’ list with the nerf bat as well.”
Nice one GW.
They’re almost never seen now, and some newer players haven’t even heard of them.
Who knows, they may get a new codex eventually.
May bring this up when I’m around at Warhammer World in a couple of months.
Could mention it when I’m ordering at Forgeworld next too.
They have a cool concept, but with next to no heavy support and nothing but short ranged weapons, they get stuffed in a normal game.
Didn’t think of that at the time.
(That and it’d be a major pain to draw).

In hindsight, Fluttershy’s affliction was also a curse.
This just makes the pairing even more appropriate.
Already got Tirek paired with the Khornite daemon force.
Mainly because he just looks the part.
One day I’ll get around to watching the rest of season 4.
Yep…
I’m miles behind.
Next episode on my to watch list is ‘Pinkie Pride’.
