It kind of reminds me of the artist for the first few Shin Megami Tensei games. Some of those designs were pretty unnerving to look at.
As it stands, any similarities between this art and Araki’s arts are merely coincidental.

Yeah. Most of my other pony portraits are without ref, but Cadance was being worst princess. I used a reference for the hair, her body, and the sheets. I tried previously to draw Cadance making heart hands, but it turned out so bad I scrapped it after about 10 tries to get her face right and went to ref.
Wow, do you base your work off of anything, say references? Cause this is really impressive. Feels like a real model photograph.
