Bullies can grow up, but that doesn’t remove the memories of the bullying. Even if they changed in the future, I don’t see someone as hotheaded as Dash ever being willing to give someone a chance who was not only a bully to her for at least a decade or two, but bullied several of her friends, as well.

Many bullies grow up. They grow out of their stupid phase. You could place the show canon anywhere from 17-22, and the two might start dating at around 25-26. Plenty of time for Dumbbell to pull his head out of his ass.

no offense but thats a crack ship i avoid…….Dash would never fall for a stalion whom tormented her, fluttershy, gilda, and who knows how many more for the vast duration of their lives. not only the he and his ‘‘buddies’’ are not very bright and they are lowly factory workers. Dash has standards….

The pairing’s not as crackish at it seems, though. A fireball like Spitfire and an easygoing good-natured guy like Braeburn would be a nice fit. Someone who was too much like Spitfire and they’d be fighting all the time.
 
She’d never get him to stop opening doors for her. Yes, he knows she’s tough, but a gentleman always holds the door for a lady!
 
I’d never have thought of it on my own and wonder how whoever started this did, but the idea is cute.
 
Unfortunately, there would be times like this, since they both kinda need to be where they are. Though all pegasi don’t live in Cloudsdale so other couples [coughdoctorderpycough] wouldn’t have that problem.

not to sound racist either but thats how i feel too…..and not only that so does DHX as we mostly see same race couples. i.e. most appleoosa is earth pony…..most canterlot is unicorny……and mos….all cloudsdale is pegasi!
 
put it this way pegasi are a very proud race and flying means the world for most of them. and very much so for Dash!  
so to have a family where only half can go anywhere and fly while the other half cant would be very sad and stressful at times.  
which is another reason why i find SoarinDash very appealing. it just feels natural.
