Except the particle collisions itself would rip you apart, transferring kinetic energy (heat) right into your molecules. Also, the sun has an atmosphere, and this atmosphere would transfer the heat directly into you as well.
Actually, the low mass density at the surface of the sun would allow to to walk there for several seconds before the heat enough to kill you is transferred to you from thee particles around.
The core of the sun maybe, but the surface of the sun is only about 20 times hotter than the hottest climate on Earth in absolute scale.
