Spike: YES. They were extra terrible this morning and I dont know why. Actually, I get the feeling I dont want to know. Why is Luna still here in the morning, anyway? And shouldnt they be heading up to Canterlot to talk with Velvet?
The only headcanon I really have about any character’s sexuality (and I violate this frequently in my own stories) is that I see Celestia as being asexual.

Or he’s just a kid… which does often cross with hypocrite. Little kids aren’t known for being reasonable and logical, so he still gets a bit grossed out seeing the pony who is basically his sister getting all mushy and twitterpated.

Well, given Twilight’s reaction to Flash Sentry, she’d likely be either bisexual or straight.
I don’t actually have any particular problem with thinking of Twilight as being potentially gay, though. Possibly because I sometimes think she had a crush on Celestia at one point.
Kinda weird for spike to be grossed out by romance, since he’s the only main character that’s normally crushing on someone. He even handled Rarity’s crush on Tenderhoof more maturely.
I honestly can’t see either of them being lesbian. Applejack and rainbow dash? yes. Lyra and bonbon? yeppers. Octavia and Scratch? indubitably. But Twilight and Luna as lesbians? I can’t see it.
See below about “has stopped caring”.
And how, pray tell, do you know their orientation?
That part is never really addressed in the show,
so it’s open season for head-canons.
Real relationships tend to not become romantic or sexual if the partners don’t have matching orientations.
Well duh, she cares about their hearts.
You know, how REAL relationships work.
Luna has lived for so long she pretty much has entirely stopped caring about what’s between her partner’s legs.

The power of TWILUNA COMPELS YOU!
I more meant I don’t have difficulty seeing them that way.
Then again, I’m an inveterate shipper.

That works too.
Maybe he’s just a hypocrite in that way.
