I think these are supercharged/final forms. Do you think, a normal projection can do shockwave? Actually the comic is a crap, it twisted everything about history of the sirens from Rainbow Rocks. Also according to them anatomy, they should be big.

Yeah, from what I could tell they weren’t ACTUALLY transforming into their true form here.
The Sirens were projections from The Dazzlings, making themselves appear far larger than they actually are. Might as well, considering they were trying to intimidate.
