To be fair we don’t care if you want to live in a lone island really faraway from your own country, we care at the fact that the islands became a military base with the excuse that we could “invade you” again when we don’t even have a fuyayg army (after that we don’t even trust cops anymore).  
And if you say we are just sore, we (most of us) are not sore at the fact we lost the islands, we are sore at the whole “protect our territory” was just a fiasco and a way to cover the deaths and missing people that the dictatorship of that time caused. The people that got sent to fight there, are’t called heroes or veterans, they are called victims of our own government.  
The people like you, just doesn’t know what really happened here.
