Technically, it does not. The Gods of Olympus are immortal only due to the ambrosia they ate and the nectar they imbibed. The Norse Gods, on the other hand, were simply long-lived, and were aware that they were capable of dying. There’s an entire prophecy around it. The closest thing the Norse gods had to an immortal was Baldr, who was immune to everything but mistletoe. Loki, of course, got him killed by a sprig of it, which set the stage for Ragnarok.

Darkseid was a great villain, though Lex Luthor’s my favorite. He’s someone who’s completely outclassed by both his enemies and several of the people he orders around, yet you never doubt that he’s the one in charge the second he enters a room.

She clearly used a variant of the spell Shining Armor used to protect Canterlot from Changeling invaders. A spell a unicorn could cast.
Further more, she had roughly the same success her husband did, which is to say a temporary inconvenience for the people it was designed to stop at best, and with no real backup plan for what to do when the shield inevitably failed…
Like the whole, Controling the Sun and the Moon gig that certain other alicorns became famous for, this is something a skilled unicorn could do. Like magic that can regress somepony’s age, making them appear ageless and immortal, another one of those things alicorns are famous for…

Kratos killed the gods of Olympus as a mere mortal. Does that make them any less of gods?
Cadance held off Sombra from invading an entire city for an unknown amount of time before the Mane 6 arrived to help. Not to mention Sombra was an ethereal mass of shadows and hate, not exactly something that the average unicorn can hold off.

Huh…didn’t think about them when I typed that up. Honestly though, Darkseid is one of my favourite DC villains.

Geneva didn’t pull the concept of war crimes out of thin air. It just codified what people knew for hundreds of years were things in war you just didn’t do, like killing POWs. In the same way that the US Constitution didn’t create individual rights, just codified what was already pretty much accepted to exist.

For the lessers know not what they do and must know the hand of control. It is by the hand of Gods do the lessers know that control that is called law. For in law, the lessers shall rise higher and become more than they were. Eventually, the Gods of Old will die and the lessers of Old become the Gods of New and will guide the lessers to come through the hand of control and law.

Some say that Star Trek just makes a copy of the person after telaporting….also I heard that all FNAF theiorys are true. [Me thinks they are digging a bit too far East with this thought.]

Ahem….I do wonder if just because Queen Changeling has a brain that…somehow shining armor might not return. Oh wait WHY dont we take the brain dead changelings and remake shining armor. ….lordy.

Err, yes? That’s mistreating a prisoner. And let’s not mention the complications that comes if you capture and hurt the leader of a white-flagged nation. Political suicide if I ever saw It.

Good point. I was assuming that the mirror uses visual cues to determine what goes in and out, and that Changelings in a different form would wind up getting misinterpreted by the mirror, since it wouldn’t have shapeshifting as a basis for comparison. The fact that this is connected to Crazy Future disproves that theory, however.

No, she talked about starvation when explaining the concept of the mindless drones.
When first she arrived, she gets interrupted by Celestia rushing the mindless drone before she can explain why she is there, and she never gets a chance to state her business in Canterlot again.
I mean, seeing as there is in all practice, a state of war between the changelings and Equestria, it would pretty idiotic of her to expect Equestria to send her aid.
Was she there to try and end the hostilities? A possibility, but that doesn’t seem to jive with the way she was acting back in Remeet.
But all she did manage to say was that she wasn’t there with hostile intentions…

Why would what a changeling is trying to look like relevant for what they become when they pass through the mirror? Its not like Chryssalis became a carbon copy of Cadance when she assumed her appearance, or changelings would loose the ability to change the first time they change into anything that doesn’t have that ability (as in, pretty much EVERYTHING ELSE).
Since this is not the case, Chrysalis could change back to her changeling form, changelings do not become ponies when they change into them, but only have the appearance of them.
Thus, just because she appears to be Shining Armor doesn’t mean she IS Shining Armor.
The real question is, what do changelings become when they pass through the mirror and are (in a metaphorical sense) translated into a shape that can exist in the universe on the other side of the mirror. Most likely this would be a human, like the Sirens, but she might be turned into something else, and may loose direct access to some of her powers if the new form doesn’t have them (like shapeshifting).

Ah. Forgot about that bit from Crazy Future.

@PonyPon
Very. I was mostly working under the assumption that their designs were derived from the portal in Equestria Girls, which changed forms to fit the parameters of the other side, which would mean that these teleporters would think ‘turn this pony that entered into the same pony that came in when they exit.’

These mirrors seem to teleport across Equestria not through other dimensions. Crazy Future, which shares this continuity, says things that go spacial tears are changed to accomodate the species within that dimension. Humans are ponies. Dogs are dragons. Aliens are changelings. It goes on.

These two mirrors are links to Ponyville and The Crystal Empire. I’d presume any exposition in FG will be disregarded as per vavacung’s recurring disclaimer that nothing beyond S04E26 will be in this or Chaos Future.
