@C Money
I think I’m starting to understand why you got the duck badge… Listen, I don’t need to know how alicorns in your fanfics beat humans, aliens or whomever else. I already expressed my dissatisfaction with this kind of stories and characterization so right now your comments aren’t doing much good except to annoy me. Please stop.
@Sky_Wolf
Well, most Fics that I make that have Celestia fighting in them will seem like Superman Fics. There’s a big-ass enemy, and Celestia has to annihilate it… Or helps a human character o’ mine with his multi-universal mishaps.
@atalarikt
I was just commenting to myself, im baffled that some people can keep arguing for 2 months (or did it stop and continue after a while? dont want to bother looking just know this picture is several months old and remember the same people arguing about celestia at the start of it).
@atalarikt
She isn’t OP everywhere, just in most places :P
And I don’t really hate her but I think I’ll follow your advice (unless someone else responds to my messages here).
@C Money
And I wouldn’t read your fic EVER if it ever mentions this in the description. Probably would even downvote it for wasting my time if you somehow trick me into reading it…
OP characters are just not interesting to read about, they might me fine to fantasise yourself on their place but even then it looks crappy, especially to other people who are not interested in being the character in question.
@C Money
That was… awful.
That is the most glaring definition of an overpowered character I’ve seen in a while >_>
Just don’t claim she is THE God and can create and destroy Universes, please D:
@Pagan
I think I can agree on that, just don’t make her all-powerful or immortal. She can have powerful magic and such but I think that we saw limits of what alicorns are capable on in the episode where Twilight, a pony who specializes in magic more than anyone else, powered by ALL alicorn magic in Equestria was fighting Tirek.
I doubt Celestia can show that level of power on her own so I tend to keep it as the reference for Celestia’s absolute maximum that she can hold only for several seconds with possible side-effects. Anything beyond that I usually deem OP and unrealistic… so yea, that’s my two cents.
@C Money
My theory is she’s more of a glass canon she can deal lots of damage but she can’t take it hence why she is so easily subdueable she basically has to be the one who shoots first.
@PonyPon
As I said, it’s a crack idea. My point is, Celestia destroys a powerful enemy while taking in a lot o’ damage and even treats the whole thing like just-another-day-in-the-office.
@Sky_Wolf
A person who is openly, unable to use their massive power. And know we get to see a chance why they are who they are. Such as (this is a crack idea but bear with me), Aliens try to invade Equestria. As they do their drone strikes, suddenly they’re halted and crushed instantly. Eventually, Celestia attacks The alien mothership herself and annihilates them all. It is eventually revealed that she destroyed the entire species of aliens that were attacking. Every last one of them, now extinct. Even have it be revealed that Celeste deal was actually struck by their high-tech weaponry multiple times, but her natural-born alicorn qualities make her impervious to even The alien’s planet destroying laser. In the end, she flies back to her throne, covered by battle-scars, and returns to work as if The alien invasion meant nothing.
Good job.
To my knowledge, that’s not why I have the duck badge. I got it from trolling political discussions.

Stop. We’re past over it now, okay?

Would you cut it out? Your attitude is repetitive and petty at the same time, always stating how OP Celestia is.
Yes, we get it, you hate her, now move on and do anything else.

Well, I’d say Celestia’s limits allow her to be pitted against gods and world eaters. Least that’s how powerful I’d make her in a Fic.
That was… awful.

What a boring story.

I’m gonna leave you
To think about this.
You are out of luck, I have no soul :P
I will eat your soul Sky_Wolf.
