Ooooh, this is an excellent gameplay enhancement card; it’s the perfect response to muchkins and POWA GAMAZ!!! who keep using one particular card or combination over and over again.

Yeah, unless you buy two theme decks or a two-player starter set and get someone to try it out with you, it can be hard to find people who already play the game in some places.

I’m not really much of a card game player, I used to be into Yu Gi Oh as a kid but dropped it.  
But I like to collect this game because the cards are funny and it’s fun to play to me because the game is fairly complex and I like the challenge.
 
Not much pony stuff in Quebec, so my playgroup is small but we get along well. We even get to play tournaments in our area, so with so few players we all get prizes.
 
They sell pre-made decks and the new set coming out this month is supposed to be easier for new players to start with apparently. There is also a how-to-play demo you can print out from the website to try out the rules.
