Something I forgot to include, was the other end of the spectrum. Some art that ranges from okay, to pretty darn’ good lookin’ art, get downvote-bombed because of the topic, the fetish, or the ship involved in the image (just to list 3 examples). Then there’s the cryin’ shame 3rd, where some of the best looking work on the site gets close to no attention, just because almost no one is actively looking for SFW art. “Bonervotes” have a high command of the voting system, and that’s why it’s sad and broken. But there’s nothing that can be done about it, because anyone can claim that they’re legally allowed to view adult content, and that anyone can vote with their dick if they decide to do so.

Upvotes on this site sometimes just don’t matter. Some images get “bonervotes”, which completely invalidate a decent chunk of upvotes some images get, because they skew the rating dramatically. Add in the fan-votes, the waifu-votes, and the hugbox upvotes, and you have some images (like this one) get far more upvotes than they would normally get.

I don’t like fat girls but their waists are impossibly thin. Especially given that they are so…top heavy, their waists can’t handle all that weight.
