If you begin to experience these symptoms, relish your new existence immediately.
 
It will make the symptoms better. As in worse. As in more pronounced, until you achieve quantum re-coherence with Pinkie Pie, at which point you will be indistinguishable in any way, thus becoming one with the consciousness of the infinite universe.

“-itis”, a suffix typically used to refer to inflammatory diseases.
 
So “Pinkie-itis” must be “an Inflammation of the ‘Pinkie’,” which means either your pinkie finger is inflamed, or you’ve successfully trolled Pinkamena Diane Pie.
 
(Only after writing that do I realize how many implications that could have xp.)
