Kinda a funny way to put it, but yeah like sharks, and other sea creatures, there’s surprisingly alot of different kinds of rays that look quite different from stingrays.
 
I saw a spotted eagle ray jump put of the water before on a boat trip as a kid. It was cool.

I love rays, but it kinda annoys me that people often think stingrays, and manta rays are the same thing, when they look as different as a Hammerhead shark, and a great white shark. They even have different wings/bodies, and mantas are much bigger, and don’t have a barbed/stinger on their tail. (Which is not on the end of a stingray’s tail BTW.)

Seeing as Bobthedalek referenced Thunderbirds in one of his previous pieces, I wonder if he’s referencing the Stingray series with this one. Or maybe I’m just over thinking things.
