It was released in 2002 though.
It IS pretty cute, but it sounded weird too. Only in the world of Eight Legged Freaks would you ever hope to hear a mutant spider sound like a rabid chipmunk.

Gee, why WOULD the self-admitted spider fanatic hate a movie that misrepresnts spider anatomy and science all while perpetuating the mentality that spiders are monsters that should be feared?
