@Josh103
It IS pretty cute, but it sounded weird too. Only in the world of Eight Legged Freaks would you ever hope to hear a mutant spider sound like a rabid chipmunk.
@SquiggyBomb
Umm… It’s 1950s creature feature, fact where made up in them so just misrepresnting things is no big deal.
It’s meant to be ridiculous and campy.
Gee, why WOULD the self-admitted spider fanatic hate a movie that misrepresnts spider anatomy and science all while perpetuating the mentality that spiders are monsters that should be feared?
I like this movie. It sounds Ironic at first, since I once had Arachnophobia, but it’s still a fun movie to watch. Really funny and epic. A bit campy at points, but worth the ride.
Interesting bit of info, it was going to be called “Arac Attack”(and it actually used that title for released in some parts of thw world) but got the one used in the US from David Arquette ad-libbed line “Get back, you eight-legged freaks!”
For me that’s close enough.
It was released in 2002 though.

Most exciting mall trip ever!
Oh I get the joke.
I just don’t find it all that funny.
*It’s based on 1950s

I think you missed the joke here.

Right?
Maybe it’s because he’s afraid of spiders.
Why?
SO MUCH.
Nah it worked.
It was made to be intentionally campy, like the 1950s creature feature it’s similar to.
And yes last weeks did happen.
i wasn’t here last week. i don’t know
