I’m bad at German, but roughly, Spike couldn’t befriend any dragons so they’re all going to the forest to find a different dragon he could befriend.

I think it’s a justification for invading the land of the donkeys, because “historically, it was always part of Equestria”. Of course, I don’t speak German, so it’s entirely possible I’m mistaken.
