I can imagine the early 2000s pop songs playing in this game (released in 2003).

Also some cursing like in Shadow the Hedgehog but even more so, (where’s that damn 4th crown?!). Guns. Innuendos. Some horror elements with monsters. Actual smokers and drug dealers.

I wish they make that, but welcome to the HD generation. PS3 & PS4

T for Teen? In that case, it better have a ton of gratuitous upskirt shots and swimsuit scenes to justify it.

Oh, for God’s sake. EA’s done some crappy stuff, but EA Sports is almost always on-point. Look at the new SSX, that was godlike.

I…could totally see this happening as a game. It could actually work! Archery as a target game, Motocross as a racing game, and Roller Skating as a…racing game again.

Neat idea, but PS2? Why… at least use the generation after that. Needs to be HD! :D

I know. Played a game based on the Hobbit book by Sierra and the story and gameplay had absolutely no problems.

There should be a PS Vita version of this, considering games are being made for the younger demographic. Like this game for example. And The Muppets Movie Adventures and Looney Tunes: Galactic Sports. Just my two cents, don’t mind me.

Book do often make better games than Movie to games, because with movies you have a limited amount of time before the hype for the movie ends and you have to get the game out within that deadline, making the game rushed and rarely showing anything new that the movie didn’t already show.  
Books to games, on the other hand, have a lot more time than that and will usually draw people’s attentions again even after the hype for the book has started to die down.
 
All that said, movies and their franchises make more money than books, with more opportunity to milk the idea for all it’s got, so that’s why. ’S all about da moolah.

I don’t see why there aren’t more book to game adaptions. Look at The Witcher, or The Hobbit. Hell, you could argue that Bioshock was an adaption of Atlas Shrugged.

Although, considering most movie -> game adaptations, it probably wouldn’t be all that good.
