Well like I said, yeah, I understand how much work it takes to make something of that high of a degree of quality, but the problem is, it’s extremely difficult for me to remain interested in something that takes too long to update.
 
It sounds like an extremely lame, bulls-… sorry, saw the “safe” rating. Anyway, it seems like a lame excuse, and I won’t justify it with stuff even I don’t truly believe as “what can justify it” even if the reasons are valid to others, but it’s hard enough for me to stay with MLP these days; and that updates WEEKLY! DBZA infuriated me with how long it took, and how I tend to just stop watching things and hope I eventually come back and binge-watch to catch up… I know the quality of their work and the money they make, speak far more for what they do than my viewership does.

Look at the production quality of their latest episodes. Do you have any idea how long something of that quality takes to make, especially when you cannot monetize it?
 
Their production speed increased recently because they got ‘famous’ enough for their stuff that they could monetize (like TFS plays and such) to generate some cash flow, so they could put more work into their abridged series.
 
Everyone on the internet has a master’s degree in ‘How To Make Everything 100 Times Better Than That Other Guy, You Know If I Wanted To.’

Yes, but for vastly different reasons than you’re trying to express. It wouldn’t be funny because The Simpsons isn’t funny and it would be a ridiculously long read with the massive difference in episodes between DBZA and The Simpsons.

OK, I’ll just quote all 577 episodes of ‘The Simpsons’, one line at a time. GEE! WOULDN’T THAT BE SUPER ANNOYING?
 
Making one follow up joke to a picture is fine. Making entire chains of back and forth quoting of the source material either because people need the last word or, more likely, people don’t get that the crucial part of comedy is to not drag a joke on for too long.
 
You make a joke, people laugh, you move on to the next bit. DBZA does that masterfully, and these topics full of people that just quote it back and forth is the best way to make sure none of us find it funny again. Just give it a rest.

I’d say Fluttershy would be Krillin, but she’s too useful for that.

I think you should have had Rainbow in as Trunks. Fluttershy always struck me more as a Gohan.(at least up until the end of the Cell arc)
