This appears to be Comic-Con. The fight scene pours into the Hasbro booth. That or Toy Fair since Hasbro is regularly present in both.
Why is there a scene that takes place in what looks like a Botcon convention, in Ted 2?

No one in particular that I know. I usually prefer to them as “that one artist” sense they tend to think outside the box from most and draw this one unique reference that some people may not be aware of.
