That’s a very simplified way of explaining how transformers are made.
& not entirely accurate if we’re talking about every Transformer toy since both sides have made Transformers toys without the aid of the other a few times.
Though in general Hasbro does the visual side of things while Takara does the engineering.
Also it would be more accurate to say “Tomy” or “TakaraTomy” at this time.
Takara makes the Transformer toys based on Hasbro’s input.
Notice how most of those don’t involve articulated horses.
& when they do they’re usually robots.
That & I’m guessing they have separate people working on each franchise so…
But this is the same company that makes Transformers, G.I.Joe, Marvel, and Star Wars.
Hey, if looking at the history of boys’ articulated figures has taught me anything, we should cut them a bit of slack regarding this new fangled thing called articulation.
If they get enough experience with it, it might end up with them making better looking articulated horse dolls in the future.
a real Equestrian hero.
Yeah, I much prefer the non-articulated ones. Though I’ll still probably buy a few of these just to get the pets, and give the figures to my niece or something.
