As “weird” as it is though, his size has always been consistent.
Both times he grew it was by different means, and while he looked completely different, both times he was gigantic.
Spike’s growth is weird as it is. He’s already been twice grown to adult sice physically, one time of those by a magical overload. I wouldn’t be surprised if that messed up his regular growth anyhow.
