Their bodies are meant to subsist on what is it, hate energy, right? Maybe a siren’s stomach doesn’t produce all the right digestive enzymes to get enough nutrition from actual material food. It’d be like a human trying to survive by eating grass… since we can’t digest cellulose, we’d stay hungry, if not for the occasional bug or fallen fruit we’d accidentally sweep up in our futile grazing. A burger, then, is mostly empty calories to a siren, except for some portion of it they can still atavistically digest.
 
That there would be some evolutionary impetus to be able to digest emotions is a pretty weird thought, but it seems to be the default method in sirens (and changelings, windigoes, et cetera).

adagio’s laziness and what aria said implies that they always have a take out. If that was the case then why are they so slim?

Geez talk about a tough situation for a single Parent/Siren to deal with. Sonata reminds me so much of myself whenever my brother would cause issues for our Mom. It got ugly.
