If there could be any spinoffs, it would more than likely be the CMCs, with Spike a distant second. And especially since they have the marks, and we know what their destinies are, there could be a bit of a show made exclusively on the CMCs.
It basically is the end of the intro sequence with all the characters replaced.
TBH I’ve kind of been expecting them to switch the focus to the schoolfillies and abandon the mane 6 entirely for a while now (a bit of a pessimist like that).
