It just weirded me out that the voices of Twilight and Shining’s parents are the voices of Twilight and Shining, just deeper-toned. Deeper-voiced Tara Strong and Andrew Francis.

But don’t you know heredity and all? So in principle maybe not too weird.
And not just heredity, foals learn to talk primarily from their parents, so learned speech patterns patterned after parents as well.
