How could that be possible?! Why they didn’t know the truth?! They didn’t know that the photographer from the Canterlot Archives wasn’t real because she was an imposter, and Chrysalis using the photos and mane strings she took as part of Chrysalis’s evil plans?! Queen Chrysalis tries to prove that the Mane Six are evil! The Mane Six were framed! They must learn the truth!

It was a fairly sound plan, except apparently the spell had JUST been made and the resulting minions were incompetent at best and traitorous at worst.
 
But also, we need to remember that the 7 never saw her. She likely had to deal with this sort of stuff before in her offscreen moments, which is why she cranked up her rage and pummeled three of them into submission.

This doesn’t bode well. Any time she’s had to plot something has gone flawlessly unless a deus ex machina took place.
 
Of course, knowing how the leak went, I think everything to be known has been known, o top of other countries airing episodes at early dates.
