That’s as true a truth as a truth can get.
And further, you’re right, according to the logic of this comic, a dragon male cumming at all makes them weak and flammable. That makes it worse. No wonder Spike wants to make it with a pony, at least that experience won’t leave him vulnerable to being immediately murdered afterwards.
That’s because spiders have hundreds of babies at a time and there’s a chance the male can get away.
Spiders aren’t sapient to recognize concepts like an afterlife. Imagine if getting laid guaranteed being horribly killed and further an eternity in hell
Who would ever agree?
Yet all the spiders and other species where the female murders the male after sex haven’t gone extinct.
Besides this isn’t how dragon mating works. She just fucked him to make him weak and murder him. She wouldn’t degrade herself to bearing Spike’s children.
