Nice. Never thought to put Applejack with the Imperial Fists. Ultramrines are defenitly a better fit for Twilight than the Thousand Sons, which a lot of people stick her with. Pinkie really is a hard choice. Space Wolves, love for ignoring the rules fits, i think. Luna really fits with the Night Lords. Solar Auxilia being used is really open right now( Lyra gets them if i do). Rest is perfact.

In hindsight, Pinkie could use the Night Lords. (Edgy, fits with her ‘Pinkamina’ edgy version).  
Or they could be used with butterbutt. (Flutter bat- Night Haunter)

Not quite sure what you meant there.  
I guess you’re after ideas of which armies match which characters.
 
Twilight would no doubt use Ultramarines. The fit is just too accurate.
 
Rarity, Emperor’s Children, again it fits well with her character.
 
Applejack, I’d put with Imperial Fists. (Yellow colour scheme, stubborn).
 
Pinkie Pie? Tough that one. Could use her with any really.
 
Rainbow Dash. Hmm…. White Scars perhaps (The Khan liked hit-and-run tactics, focusing on speed).
 
Fluttershy, I’d put with the World Eaters. For no other reason than it’s about as out-of-character as you can get.
 
Lyra I’d put in, using the Solar Auxillia (Spelling there?). The whole “humans!!” thing.
 
Bon Bon, following her round. Maybe using a force of her own, (Friendship Games plot shout-out, with them so absorbed trying to out-do each other they don’t realise how well they’re doing in the contest).
 
As for others, I’ll leave that to you. There’s 18 legions to take in to consideration, plus the solar auxillia and the titan legions backing them up.

Good point. Mentioned me doing a story partly like this, is why i asked. Right now, them playing any games with their armies, might be pushing Twilight’s luck( her bringing the whole thing to Equestria and her being the only one knowing the whole story). so. it. might. just be. the enjoyment of painting. and displaying their army. Name idea’s?

Final note from me here, I’m actually from the UK, so shipping’s not as bad for me. Forgeworld’s miniatures are still extortionately expensive though. I want the new Warlord titan. My wallet’s going to hate me…..
 
I have also deployed this army >>557512 at Warhammer World in Nottingham on more than one occasion. Most of the responses were positive to indifferent, although there were a few who didn’t approve, obviously. Always got people taking pictures of them. I’m surprised I haven’t seen more images of them online.

There is a fanfic of them playing the game. I’d need to hunt for it to find what it’s called and who did it though. Got it saved on one of my flash drives. Never did read all of it, but it’s not bad. Full of spelling mistakes and bad grammar, but it’s something I’ve come to expect over on fimfiction.  
I don’t think it ever got finished either.

What else is missing is a fanfic of them playing the game. Using the standerd 40k rules isnt hard, finding the relevent codex is easy. For the Horus Heresy era armies, unless you want to pay the crazy amount for shipping, plus regular price, from Englend, the best bet is Gen-Con in Indianapolis in August.

I think all but 4-5 of the pictures of the ponies playing the game were done by me.

There’s barely any of the characters actualy playing the game, even less using Forge World’s Horus Heresy models. This is one of the better ones. Compared to the worst of the World Eaters atrosities, Sombra is a saint(same goes for the Night Lords.)

Also, the themed armies by ‘Mystia’ and ‘Joey 012’, were both inspired by my own pony themed army. Not so sure with the third army though. (Derpy Storm Talon and Celestia Land Raider are from that force. There’s also a Luna themed Land Raider there too).

Don’t know if my uploading so much here has inspired any other artists to take an interest in the crossover, but it’s likely.  
81 of my artist tagged images are 40k related, either models or drawn art like this one. (3 of the others are Safe Haven (OC) pics I did ages ago, and the last one is a picture I drew of Colgate crying, which I actually drew for the underside of a rhino model).
 
Here’s hoping for some more stuff soon.  
I’ll be continuing with my own sketching for here.

Another alternative for SA would be Black Templars. They are knights in most respects.

Seems like he’d use Nightlords honestly.
