People veering in the exact opposite direction when it comes to “meme” characterizations and go out of their way to make characters reject the meme thing, even if it doesn’t make sense. Trixie completely abandoning third person in all situations, even on-stage. Soarin and Sonata hating pies and tacos. That sort of thing.
 
Really, it’s possible to give characters “meme” traits without them being ruined. You can have Sonata eat a taco without going full Taco Queen. Lyra’s whole human angle has created some truly phenomenal fanfics. Hell, you can still have Soarin love the shit out of pies while still being a fully developed athletic character. Before I get any shit, I’m also calling out folk who flanderize these characters as well. Really, my big issue is that there seems to be only two extremes when it comes to “meme” character traits; flanderization or illogical avoidance.

People who characterize her as an omniscient god like being.
 
Like this one fanfiction that i broke one of my teeth reading because sshe admitted she had the power to end the conflict that second but wouldn’t because that wouldn’t be fun for the reader, then she spends her time dressing up as Captain falcon and Master Chief.

They did clips for all the episodes last year, and most of the s5 ones iirc.
 
Maybe they want to avoid another fuck up like the one with 28 Pranks Later where they basically showed the climax of the episode.

It used to be 6:30 western time I believe.

Fittingly, I ended up putting a dozen of those hard-to-sell Flurry Heart dolls we keep getting but never frickin sell into a featured shelf yesterday at work. We’re not having high hopes they’ll ever sell without going for like, 10 bucks.
 
Just like in the show, she take a disproportionate amount of space despite how little people care about her. Seems like mutant atrocities don’t market as well as Hasbro thought they would, eh? :/
