well, fuck cat people who think my dog is bad for chasing cats out of my yard. he’s on a leash unless he’s in my yard, but that yard is his kingdom.

My dog barks at the stray cats around the neighborhood even though she’s never interacted with one. I wonder why.

I like both cats and dogs, but prefer dogs due to growing up with them (dogs) and being allergic to cats. However…

The issue with redeeming Chrysalis now is that they’ve dug themselves too deep a hole with how redemption work  
I don’t think they have, honestly. The complete turnaround of the Changedlings points to her being more of a selfish, mean-spirited, next level asshole than outright unrecoverably evil; they reacted more like kids taken from an abusive home and put into loving foster care than child soldiers who’d been raised to be monsters. She’s still a scumbag, sure, but a scumbag who’s had ample opportunity to see not only what that scumbaggery has gotten her, but what ☙❁♥_Friendship_♥❁❧ has gotten her enemies. If she was out there keeping an eye on the school and saw what trying to treat Friendship as a superweapon did for Crazy Glue, it might very well prompt her to take Starlight and Thorax’s offer seriously next time; she was briefly conflicted about it after they wrecked her house, after all.
 
it all magic was being absorbed in Equestria, why would the gates of Tartarus be stuck?  
Seems like a fairly standard magic prison thing for the doors to be designed so that they’re impossible to physically open, and only a specific magic can make them do so.

I dislike how the Pony Changelings conflict was handled but I understand why they choose that route as a more complex route wouldn’t have fit in the tone of the show

I prefer Pinkie when she’s being more serious than from she’s being hyperactive. Don’t have a problem with her character at all, I just find her more interesting when she shows other types of emotions. This is why I enjoy episodes like “Baby Cakes”, “Party Pooped”, “Rock Solid Friendship”, “The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows”, “Viva Las Pegasus” and even “The Maud Couple” to some extent.
