Chipper did as he was told and hopped off Pursuer’s shoulder. Grabbing what duffel bags he could carry. Pursuer did the same, keeping his shield up to protect Chipper as he hefted most of the bags onto his back

Shadow’s eyes flickered red and he grins, the left hand on the revolver now as the right hand let go of the pistol and he kicks in the door, the door blasted open, knocking the guard back and he raises his left arm up, holding the revolver while using the right hand to quickly spin the revolving part of the revolver while shooting as many guards as he can in six shots.

The turrets opened up as they made their escape “ that was close.” Shockwave panted as they entered the same house where pointer and blazer were waiting. “Good job you 2”

They fell like dominos splashed with blood and gore in surprise as one at the top of the stairs to his right brought a submachine gun to bear firing wildly, one bullet sunk into his shoulder more by sheer dumb luck than aim.

He gets into cover, his hands moving quickly as he reloaded perfectly, he slide to the side and unloaded six shots into the bastard who shot him.

“ cross get in here and tend to these trators when I’m through with them. She calls back to him as she throws open the doors to reveal a mare and her 2 twin foals. “Ah, Mrs. Cartpull right? So how’s it been playing both sides of the war?” She said with an evil griñ.

Chipper just sat next to Pursuer’s leg. His heart felt like it was pounding out of his chest

She rolled her eyes and ignored him turning on the mother.  
“ I wasn’t sure until I saw the weapons your guards had. Not government issue. Illegal.” Nightshade said stepping closer with each word. “So how did you get them?” “Please. My husband died for this government!” She pleaded “my children-” nightshade slapped her hard across the face “the spawn of traitors mean nothing to me. Where are the warehouses you’ve letting them use in exchange for all this extra security and firepower eh? Where!?” She smacked her again as the twins darted off in fear. She grabbed one who began to sob as she held him by his tail he was barely 6. “Answer the question. Your child’s foreleg depends on it.” She whispered flicking out a large knife while the child sobbed. “I will go to any length to protect my country. Will you go to any length to protect your children?” She giggled while the mother splutered

He looked on, unsure of what to do. If she really was a traitor then he’d sit back and watch but if she wasn’t…He approached the mother  
“Look, this chick is a psycho. She’s on edge, give us something so I can calm her down.”

“ stay back cross.” She warned. “So what’s it going to be? Hmm?” “The..the 22nd warehouse off 14th street its there all the guns are there! Please sweet Celestia put my son down!” She sobbed finally cracking as nightshade lost interest and dropped the child who scappered to his mother.

“ shadow. Cross. We are leaving. “ she turned to the mother as she stowed her knife. “It was a pleasure. Say hi to your husband for me.” And as they left she pulled out a walkie talkie “traitors confirmed. Purge cleared.” As the auto carriage took off the house seemed to explode before imploding into nothingness. Like it never been there.

“ what’s that supposed to mean?” Nightshade asked raising an eyebrow as she punched in the address of the warehouse into their auto driver.

“ shadow. No cleaning your guns in my car! You’ll get grease on my new seats!” She said as she turned and sat back down.

“I just…not used to this I guess. A career of healing and now this? It’s like if a dog suddenly becomes a cat, takes time to adjust you know? I’m not questioning your methods don’t get me wrong, desperate times right? I just…have to adjust.”
