Not sure which one needs to actually be used, but the latter is the newer name.

Concerning the recent deletions - Privacy is very important to us, so sometimes requests for artist aliases have to be deleted to preserve an artist’s anonymity.
 
If you are aware than an artist has chosen to not be associated with an artist tag, please respect their privacy.
 
If you’re not aware of this, don’t worry - keeping track of what artists would prefer happen with their tags, and which tags they want to remain anonymous, is our responsibility.

@Seltonik - Done. I went with “artist:akainu_pony” since that is their twitter and does appear to be where they’re posting now.

@Sunsper - Sorry for the long delay. I see that is an alternative name for them, but I’m not going to alias this because the artist is still using “artist:oloxbangxolo” on their FurAffinity, which is where all the art we have is from, and no art has ever been uploaded from any source using their alternative tag. So, I would have to create the tag just to alias it, so moving the art to their alt name doesn’t seem appropriate for their current body of work.

Agreed, but even then they’re still calling themselves “oloxbangxolo” … I made an alias from makoto1996 -> just in case any art from that tag shows up, but right now “oloxbangxolo” still looks like what they call themselves in those places where they are making pony art, so it seems the better name to use for them on this site.

Sorry that took so long. I agree. I’ve aliased every possible tag they could end up with into “artist:passigcamel”. Which after I was done I realized was just two. I don’t know why, but that looked a lot more complex before I started working on it than it ended up being afterwards.

I think I’m all caught up to here - I’m done with family stuff for awhile, so if you see that I’ve not done your’s yet, sorry for overlooking it and please let me know and I’ll take care of it.
