Actually, I rarely see anyone get in trouble for complaining about the spam. Still, it does prove my point that if we can’t do anything about it, (what can we do? Make it against the rules to post “bad” art? Especially considering some on this site consider any and “ALL” Sonic pics, good or bad, as “bad art” and bash even the decent ones, or try to start arguments about the controversial series.I’ve seen some here even try to say Sonic fans shouldn’t be allowed here, which is overkill.)
 
I’ve gotten away with making joking remarks on bad Sonic pics actually. (But being a casual Sonic fan myself, I just try to do it in a harmless manner, rather then go “Sonic fans shuld diez!” like some here have… That’s usually what they get in trouble for, not for merely calling out the Spam fests as you claim.)
 
I think the reason they target bad/mediocre Sonic pics, is ‘cause it’s the easiest way to spam /troll Derpibooru, and provoke a reaction from some, sense we got quite a few Sonic haters, or ex-Sonic fans here who bare grudges against the series/fanbase. (Though, we have quite a few Sonic fans here too.)
 
The best way to end the Sonic spam fests is to ignore them, or try to convince the admins to keep track of the trolls doing it. Remember the old “Scootaloo chikkun face” spamfests? They died off, ’cause people began to ignore or filter them.

the main reason for the drama is the fact that shit stirring background ponies will deliberately search for crap/ugly sonic art, post loads and loads of it at once, then set the mods on anyone who complains or tries to call them out on their blatant shitposting

To be fair, he doesn’t have much art here, and honestly I’ve seen worse then this. (And I kinda like their Knucklesjack pic lol.)
 
Of course, if Fluttershy was Toad from Mario, or if bad Mario art was being spammed, nobody would give a shit. It’s only the bad Sonic pics people react to here, which is why trolls always pull these “Sonic spamfests.” You guys ALWAYS fall for them, rather then ignore them, or filter Sonic tags.
 
The ironic thing is, even the decent (or even “good”) Sonic-related pics during said spamfests get drama, or downvotes. While I don’t love every Sonic game, either, sometimes the Sonic hate gets more annoying then the Sonic spam for me.

Better put Artist:Dog22322 into the filters in case this is the usual vomit crap DA’s onto derpibooru trolling spree, then play innocent to the mods even when upload list contains nothing but bait or deliberately poor art
