Fluttershy visits Mt. Lavalava and confronts Lava Piranha. “HYUCK, HYUCK!! LOOKS LIKE WE HAVE A PONY”, said Lava Piranha after emerging from the hot magma. Fluttershy said, “Oh my, you’re such a cute but huge plant.” But don’t let this hot plant fool Fluttershy, cause he has Lava Buds that can spit fire too. Let’s hope that she has Sushie with her.

Given that Paper Mario 1 was originally going to be “Super Mario RPG 2,” and even has some similarities to SMRPG, (such as the NPCs who resemble the Shamen, 7 stars, and a similar ending sequence.) it’s not too surprising as both bosses were giant piranha plants.
