If it were true, critics wouldn’t be paid for their opinions.

Ok, but where does it go?
The word you’re looking for is “joke”.
I was talking about an implication to something that might or might not have happened offscreen, so there is no objective reason to believe in the truth or falsehood of the nature of my comment. And anyone using the word ‘literally’ removes all openness to interpretation. So again, you’re wrong. Keep batting, kid. You’re probably never gonna hit one, but watching you swing blindly is damn funny.
Edited because: accidentally some words
Not really. Sure, it’s impossible to control a person’s interpretation of your words, but it is possible to at least influence their interpretation to a considerable degree. If it wasn’t, language would be pointless, as no one would understand anyone. Since it is, you do have some responsibility for your comment being misinterpreted, especially since your comment indicated that you believed something that was objectively false, compared to OP who’s caption indicates an interpretation that is a lot harder to disprove.
I would consider that more of a failure on your part, as long as we’re being honest here.
If that is the case, OP did a much better job than you, because I could see the logic in OP’s post but not in yours.
I’m sure that “irony” was an accident. But yes, I know I’m just taking the conversation to its natural conclusion. Take a pill, I just meant that they were getting along far better than anyone else who ever got into an argument on the Internet.
Except that you were specifically talking about the episode itself and how it supposedly implied the two had sex when nothing in the episode indicates such. We were not talking about the irony fandom shipping the characters, we were specifically talking about the events of the episode.
maybe they only chastely kissed
Do you know what shipping is?
How does that imply that they had sex?
The writers exploited the fact that people automatically default to tuning out Quibble when he goes on one of his rants at the end of the episode where he’s talking excitedly to Rainbow Dash about the “spunky new side character” in the Daring Do books that he “ships his OC with”.
What?

Of course, this also applies to a lot of other fandoms. Like Star Wars… actually, it fit the Star Wars thing better. Dunno, the way he spoke about it kind of reminded me of arguments I’ve seen. {And oh the G1-unners of pokemon….}
But in all honesty, I overtly enjoyed Quibble Pants.
