Or whoever was doing the background ponies for this episode just grabbed the same assets that had been used in “The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows”. And I’m saying this as someone who really, really likes the Derpy/Dinky fanon; I just don’t think this cameo adds any evidence to whether it’s canon or not.
