If I appear to be coming on strong,it’s probably because your commenting style just happens to remind of the Same style used by certain infuriating people on the internet.
 
From your first comment You make a random claim that has no basis and seems to imply some hostility with the show style
 
Then when I point out how the context of you claim does not match. You do take in my comment but then repeat the claim and add more unsupported assumptions to back up your claim.  
I go on a bit with my next comment but only to show you that your Claims are just completely impossible to argue for from with this image alone.
 
You then trivialize your claim but don’t actually retract it and yet from your comments you seem to want to dismiss any further debate.
 
Alright, true the debate is not very important, But still it is a false claim and I figured that I had made the effort necessary to show you and potential others that your claim was undoubtedly Untowed.
 
Then however you attempt dismiss my argument again,by strangely claiming that without confirmation by the creators everything not directly contradicted is possibly valid. This goes beyond the context of the image and I’m not sure what the point of the (presumed)humor toward the staff or mentioning of the human species was. I’m confused at what this comment implies as well. You still haven’t retracted your claim and seem to now be defending it by Saying that because the creator haven’t directly said no then it is as valid as any other?
 
Well at this point I’m really being reminded of certain people on the internet and thus I feel the need to Try to argue that Your claim is without a doubt not in anyway helped by your argument about the authority of the creators.
 
I guess I really want you retract your untoward claim which you have not clearly done and attempted to argue for in the flimsiest of ways. That you haven’t already and instead begin insulting me while claiming to be “done” with this just reminds so much of certain people on the Internet that I’m afraid I feel the need strongly to make sure that this thing is settled clearly. I apologize for all this but that’s what I feel.

If everything is equally probable and improbable than everything is meaningless as any concept can then always be overruled by something or another and vice versa.
 
However I think we can make some conclusions about the show based on implications and patters that the show may or may not makes obvious to us and from there a canon or “fanon” forms from which we can derive interpretations and ideas without the need of the show staff whose messages can be contradicting and outdated and thus relaying on them would be unwise.
 
The claim you made based on the material here in this image whether in jest or not was unreasonable and inexplicable. Just because the source is a fictional cartoon doesn’t mean that all claims about it are equal in nature or validity.
 
I explained that the claim you made here has no basis and cannot be explored within the context here. It was indeed an untoward claim I assure you.

There’s no such thing as an untoward claim in this space. This is a fictional universe in which our species does not exist. Unless we receive a specific answer from one of our show’s Overlords (praise be to their names) then anything and everything is equally probable and improbable.

Perhaps,What does Elitism mean here? I think we can assume that there is a perception in the show that Unicorns are associated with direct magic(As they have the most visually striking magic) as well as power,knowledge wealth and prestige. It Seems Obvious that Unicorns do have a forefront position In society at least. Now from this scene your right in that there are no visual Unicorns but it could be that the building is a commemoration appropriate to warrant Unicorns Statues like a memorial or something. Or it can be a library or school and since Unicorns are associated with Knowledge there placed there for a “ponyzing” decorations like Greek style statues at a college.We don’t know.
 
Well now you could say that their associating Unicorns with Knowledge,that’s bias or elitism and it well could be, But as stated Unicorns are the most associated in pony culture with knowledge so perhaps it’s a little elitist but there could be a building with statues of earth ponies in the front right next to this one. Is That one elitist? What if its a building about farming,does that make the earth ponies appropriate? What about Unicorn or Pegasus farmers,are they being discriminated against since their not represented? And when does the levels of representation stop? The statues are mares,One statue could have been a male one. Why Wasn’t it? Was it the elitism of the majority mare population? The statues have Purple eyes, In a world where purple eyes exist,by having statues of honor with purple eyes,is that elitism? Are they saying Purple eyed ponies are better than those that are not? We have no context and we have no idea why anything here is.
 
We know Its a short scene for a larger plot in a story and most likely the assets were ripped by the animators with little though and only because they looked cool for that scene. To call anything in this world of colorful cartoon horses elitists would be meaningless as we have no context and with a modern view of “discrimination” you could find so many counts of “elitism” with the all female monarchy and racial based magic and crystal castles popping up in town unannounced that Equestria would resemble a totalitarian state if you looked hard enough thorough those glasses of modern Egalitarian thought(it’s not of course but I have no doubt someone on Tumblr would and has gone that far because of their gender studies class or whatnot) . So yeah…we don’t know and its best to presume that everyone is happy with this new building regardless since we see happy ponies,

Even assuming you’re right, I don’t see a single unicorn in that crowd, at least in the front. That could mean they have unicorn statues in a town of mainly pegasi and earth ponies, which presents the same problem.
