So I’d say Starligh’s half a tier below Twilight, who’s being an alicorn and spending her entire student career studying magic (how much Starlight studied is unknown as of this time).

Twilight is superior but not by much. I think their difference is like Goku and Vegeta in the current arc of Dragon Ball Super. In DBZ they’re miles apart, but in DBS that gap is relatively much smaller. In DBS, Vegeta has reached Goku’s level more or less. Sure, Goku still has his signature moves which gives him an edge against Vegeta, but at their peaks, Goku and Vegeta currently aren’t that much different.
IMO Starlight currently is about equivalent to post Ponyville Unicorn Twilight, but still below Amulet Trixie and WAY below Sombra.
You should take those stats with a grain of sugar. Even as someone who thinks Twilight is superior to Starlight in basically every way, they take quite a few creative liberties with some of the characters.
Best just to keep it within Tails and not try to apply it to the actual show.

…the Mane6 has overall better stats than everybody else, so…that don’t count. They ARE the mane characters of the show after all.
But to have Bulk Biceps be so drastically weaker than AJ and RD when we all know Bulk is strong, that’s just wrong.
On the flip side Zecora is getting buffed so hard she beats everybody in terms of raw stats. Zecora potentially can beat even Twilight in everything. So…yeah what even is this?
