Unfortunately it’s a common trope in harem anime. A guy fantasizes about a girl, he’s a sexist pig who must be beaten. A girl does the same (sometimes far worse) and is “endearing” or “quirky” for doing it. Some anime are starting to avoid it though, so that’s a plus.
