Celestia starts to drown!, she gulps a lot of bubbles, screaming for help, begging for air as she coughs it from her lungs, the evil air sucker quickly absorbs its favourite food… “female air bubbles” as he watches how the princess coughs and inhales water inside her lungs……. minutes later, the evil creature keeps playing with the lifeless drowned body of celestia…. she will be taken later to the laboratories to revive her and keep the torture session
If you’d see it depends on
A. If the water pockets would immediately exchange solutes to the point where they’re the same, and
B. If the optical properties of the two solutions are different enough to create a visible boundary.
Implying the properties of seawater and tears are the same, just because there’s salt in it?
Check this. If even different types of tears are different, how can we expect to make the same solution as seawater?
Pool water is different from salt water so Yes you can cry in a pool because the pool is chlorinated water with virtually no salt and tears are very salty. But with sea water both your tears and the ocean are saline therefore no tears are visible
Because that’s the instinctual reaction to a distressing situation where you’re helpless.
Most people drowning don’t, though, apparently. But someone might if they’re actively being held under like this.
Cuz it’s hot
yeah uhh…. no, that’s not a valid criticism at all like wtf
I’m not joking, this is my fetish
yeah not to mention a lot of girls are into pretty serious rape roleplay where they themselves are playing the role of the victim and their boyfriend is playing the role of a masked intruder.
Trust me, it’s hot.
@Goddess Erosia
Not explicit, but spoilered because grimdark doesn’t necessarily mean “questionable” comments aren’t above rating?
I think a good comparison is rape. Like, the lower more animalistic side of your brain may love it, while the higher, intelligent and more human side of your brain is deeply traumatized by the abuse.
If you remove the abuse part, as in having a consensual interaction with someone and it’s just play, then it’s possible to “fool” the animalistic part of the brain so it gets its full thrill out of the experience, while your smarter, higher brain is fully aware it’s just a game, you’re just pretending, and it’s just roleplay, so it’s not actually traumatizing.
So fantasy and roleplay are kinda like that.
I mean, honestly, killing your friends in Call of Duty or any other shooter or shooting them with paintballs or airsoft guns is no different.
There’s a base animal side of the brain that loves murder, rape, and all kinds of terrible abuse. Just like entertaining it with a shooter video game or paintball doesn’t mean you’re going to shoot up a school, entertaining it with this kind of fantasy doesn’t mean you’d actually want a loved one to die terribly, anymore than you want to murder your friends when/if you play a shooter or paintball with them.
Dang. That metaphor is perfect. The only difference is it’s violent tendencies instead of sexual ones.
I got a thing for something very close to this image. Play is essentially nature’s form of practice, to get to become familiar with it and how to deal with it.
I think my grimdark fetish evolved out of being deeply disturbed by the thing, and at some point I decided in my head to confront it to try to learn to deal with it instead of running from it, and that grew into a fetish because feelings of vulnerability are a rather intimate feeling, and the closeness of adrenaline and fear with pleasure, when not coupled with real danger.

If they draw pictures of their beloved character being viciously mutilated and gored, and get some kind of pleasure from seeing someone sexually violate what’s left - among the pile of blood and guts - then yes, probably. But as for the actual contents of this image, well…. You should see my take on it a few posts down.
Either way, I think it’s pretty obvious that the content of this actual image isn’t meant to be universally appealing, it’s appealing to a certain fetish. So of course there’s people who aren’t into this. My main point earlier is that perhaps this fetish, as it is shown in this image, isn’t so unusual or heinous as people tend to believe, judging by their harsh reactions.

well they have a point, people who “love their oc’s” furry, or brony/pegasister are twisted, if they love their oc and yet they kill it for pleasure
Shhhhhhhhh.
exactly
People who don’t like drowning? Or people who don’t like dying.
Heh.
Who does not?
Same
It’s understandable.
Heck, the Chimera even pitched the appeal to Applebloom in Somepony to Watch Over Me. “Soon you won’t have to worry about anything any more…”
That’s what being helpless means.
And it’s important to recognize that. At the very least, I like to recognize an issue I have if part of me wants to be overpowered and completely helpless. It’s not good to let that side be in control or I might end up giving up on things I shouldn’t.
but i really dont feel like arguing, its just a personal opinion
