I made this female changling a while ago, but haven’t gotten around to posting her up. Not sure why, but might as well do it now. So this is Lapis, part of the Changling hive in her Metamorphosed form, after the hive was ruled by Thorax. Lapis’s current form is actually a change for her original metamorphosed form as she wanted to change her identity a bit (this is going off what I heard from the episode “To Change A Changling” where one changling was wondering about their identity, and I think they could change their color if possible).
 
Lapis original name was actually “Axia” (based off Axial, part of the Thorax region of an invertebrate i found on my packet), and thus was part of the same form as the other original changlings, willing to do what she could to support the swarm. However, after her encounter of love magic that defeated Queen Chrysalis and the invading changlings caused her to question the ways of the changlings. Fortunately, thanks to Starlight Glimmer and Thorax, she embraced the power of love like all the other and she was happy… till she discovered that her brother, Vexen, refused this change as his loyalty remained to the Queen and he left the hive. Feeling guilty of her past and the actions of her brother, she changes her name and color to forget about her past. Now she stays at the hive, helping out wherever she can hoping one day that her brother will return to the hive and accept the new ways, along with hoping that Thorax would allow him back in too.
 
In an alternate version of her story for “Tails of Equestria” role playing game, she becomes a friend and ally of the group of heroes and helps them in many adventures, including saving King Thorax from her brother, where her friends learned of her past.
