Ironically, the best episodes had absolutely nothing to do with Twilight being a princess XD  
Like Pinkie Pride, Rarity Takes Manehatten and Maud Pie.
 
It wasn’t that anyone that did instantly sucked, but they had absolutely no idea how to write for Twilight ‘teacher of friendship’ anymore except ultra sanctimonious, like in Rainbow Falls.
 
Some people were worried that once Celestia declared Twilight THEIR teacher, Twilight couldn’t be seen at fault or anything but perfect. Its a ridiculous idea and, ironically, 100% correct. She only admitted fault ONCE in the entire season during Testing 1, 2, 3, and she was told by Spike and Dash she wasn’t even relatable anymore do to her attitude.

After the great season we had, it’s so funny to come back and read these comments.

It is nice to know that Princess Sparkle still likes to have her friends around, but if she wanted to show that they were still her peers with equally important thoughts and feelings, when Celestia prompted her to speak, she might have thought to prompt her friends to speak as well.

There’s also the small matter of her spending less than two seconds on that chariot before jumping off to romp with her friends.

Except that they did. Twilight explicitly says that she would never have become princess if not for her friends, and at the end of parade she jumps off the chariot to walk by her friends, which I’m sure was intentional symbolism.
 
That and you need to remember the context. PRINCESS CELESTIA bowed to her. When the friggin’ princess bows to somepony, everyone else is gonna bow too. That and it’s a bow of respect, not submission.

You don’t get how all of the main characters basically saying “wow we fucking suck you’re a god now Twilight” isn’t a big deal?

I still don’t get why it’s such a big deal.
 
Oh lord don’t tell me people are treating this the same way as the “Samus being momentarily scared of Ridley” thing from Other M (which wasn’t a big deal to me in the slightest, she proceeded to kick his ass from ways from Sunday after that scene anyway).

In cultures where it is traditional to bow, I think the general idea is that you bow to your peers and they bow to you as a sign of mutual respect. When you bow to someone and they do not reciprocate, it is a sign that they are your superior.
