They do have an animation studio called Scientific Educational Korea (or SEK Studio) since 1957 mainly to gain foreign currencies.They animated Tentacolino and The Legend of Titanic because of course they did and it was cheaper for the Italian studio Mondo TV
Basically they only have either rich people (mostly their leaders) or poor people and rarely any in-between. So they apparently can get funding for (propoganda) animation.

Was it the “Saturday Supercade” old obscure DK cartoon with Optimus Prime voicing Mario, and Soupy Sales as DK? I missed that night.

I’m just surprised they have animation period in North Korea. How do they afford TVs when from everything I’ve heard most North Koreans can’t afford to eat?
yeah the show makes the mistake of making the villains who are supposed to be the decadent west, either cool wolves with glowing eyes and dragon themed space ships or weird ilsa-esque furry vixens

You’re correct, ReBoot is VERY good, but it was added as a weird cartoon. Especially considering the episode in question.
