Well back in season one the hype was its a girls show that’s well written. Now that’s been done away with its just a good show that just happens to be aimed at girls.
 
The writing is still there just lost the fist luster.
 
Plus it probably wasn’t a good ideal for any shows fandom to come form 4chan that’s why there’s a very negative view on bronies. not helped by the few big names artist still active only do weird fetish porn. As a people see the dark side of the fandom first which a normal fandom would keep hidden.

I know there was probably just some “honeymoon phase” I went through and the fandom probably hasn’t changed that much, but it just doesn’t seem as glorious as it once was. The people on YouTube I followed either fell off of the face of the earth or moved on to other things in their videos, so many interesting tumblrs by really good artists just sorta went on hiatus forever, not to mention all of the drama with the show itself. No one seems really excited to have discovered pony anymore, it’s just another casual thing now, so I can understand that as well.

Seriously, I agree with a lot of things you say, but you’ve always got your shit dialed up to eleven, even when it clearly calls for no more than a two or three. If you want to be right you have to acknowledge nuance.
 
The princess molestia tumblr has lost a lot of its luster and vibrancy and it doesn’t even update that often anymore. It seems like most of the big interesting things in the fandom have sorta gone that way. Doesn’t mean that people who still manage to squeeze some joy out of what’s left are a bunch of low iq dudebros.

At least he tries to fake that he has an idea around mother’s day.  
Same can’t be said for Luna, who’s basically been turned into the dumbest dudebro stereotype possible. I’m surprised he gets away with that considering how quick the fandom usually hops all over character destruction. Oh wait, he probably chased off everyone intelligent enough to criticise him for that already by pushing Gamer Luna over Celestia. Probably the only fans he has left are the ones dumb enough to enjoy those interactive movies what are pitiful excuses for games. Every now and then I check in and see one new molestia page, and maybe ten Penny Arcade Ponies and go ‘da fuq channel did I just turn to? What’s wrong with my effin’ remote!”
