Feelings any fan from any fandom gets every once in a while. Just goes with the territory of having an interest, beyond casual, in most forms of entertainment.

sometimes, especially with people who are obsessed with every little insignificant thing in the show like the lyra human joke, the flutter tree, the rarity marshmallow… or… derpy… etc

Hey, everybody, this isn’t expressing non-stop disappointment with the fandom. It’s just a now-and-then feeling, okay?

Well I can say my disappointment is pretty much nonstop.

I hate pretty much every portion of this fandom, everywhere I look it’s dramawhores, ridiculously unselfaware people, perverts going on long fucking diatribes to self justify their own deviancy, self-righteous asshats who want to control everyone and all content, people with no social skills at all. And all of those groups are ridiculously insular and unable to ever self-reflect. Yet I still hang around because im some sort of masochist or something I guess.

I will say it wasn’t always as bad as it is now, 2011-mid 2012 was quite cool, and 2014 is still a lot better than the fandom LAST YEAR, jesus christ was the pony fandom in 2013 just a hellish pit of drama, with a new drama happening every freaking week.

@Beau Skunky
Should probably clarify. You don’t have to call yourself a “brony” to be a MLP-fan, or apart of the fandom if you wish, or to like the show casually… (Heck, some female bronies use the term “pegasister” which works to.)
But my point was for people to act all self-righteous about it, and acting like that makes them a “better” MLP-fan just for “not being a brony” is quite petty.

Ironically, I think the worst bronies are like those crazy hateful ones who insist they aren’t bronies, constantly bash other bronies/MLP-fans, (the fandom they’re in) and such despite liking the same show, drawing pony fanart, and such. (Y’know, like those bronies they hate do.)
Then on top of it, some of them rant about how “bronies” don’t like them, or refuse to associate with them. (Gee, it’s not like bashing a group of people could offend them.)

I understand not everyone likes the term “brony,” but it’s just ironic some fans believe that refusing to use the “hip” term makes them “better” then bronies, despite doing all the same things a brony does, and liking the same show they do.
You can’t “nerd-shame” people who are into the same nerdy things you’re into.

To be honest, I don’t think the brony/MLP fandom is as bad as some think. Sure it has issues sometimes, and a few fans are odd, but all fandoms have their issues.

Still, not ashamed to call myself a “brony” personally.
