Description
An idea for a possible S5 episode, Rainbow Dash teaching Scootaloo to fly. It would be a sort of sequel to Flight to the Finish with Ms. Dash getting Scootaloo up in the air and blowing her whistle to gently urge Scoots on. I love Scootaloo and Dash’s puffy cheeks in this picture and would love to see Dashie actually do this. Vectored by Raikuraikaze-Chan on dA.

Yes. But at the pace she’s going she won’t be flying within the show’s lifetime… Unless she receives a dose of Deus Ex Machina. But that can only go as well as Twilicorn did.
True but as time moves forward she will get better and better at it.
So far, Scootaloo’s been able to fly about as well as a chi– er, guinea hen. That may technically qualify as flying, but I doubt she’s satisfied with that level of flight.

Even though it’s surely not what the showrunners intended, I wish she could turn out to be an orphan just so Rainbow Dash can take her in.
Actually, they wasted our time by making “Pinkie Apple Pie”, an episode that was supposed to reveal if Pinkie was Applejack’s cousin or not…and then it ends with “I dunno”.
I’m beginning to think they’re running out of ideas. I’m just going to have to give up on canon, fanfic writers do a lot better.
