Description

Just a rough drawing right now, I’ll upload a second, more polished part later today. This is just here to explain everything.

Well, I guess I could explain the idea behind “learning to draw”: I never really get to practice my drawing skills, so I set the goal to upload atleast 1 image every day.

I’m sharing this because I’m searching for criticism, also: if the series is an success (I don’t think that I will get worse ;D), other artists can take this as inspiration to keep trying to get better.

At the end of the series, there will be a huge collage of all the drawn images.

The rules:
  • No special effects. Yes, effects can really change how a picture looks (Check out >>755426 and compare it to this)
  • I have to draw something different every time. This is very important.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
@Ziemniax
Thank you for that tip. I have to use the mouse, because I lost my tablet-pen. The mouse is kindof broken and my table is pretty scratched up, resulting in inprecise movement. So there’s no point in trying to improve my sketches right now. This picture is how the sketches look, just imagine it without color.

Here is what I did with the second picture: I sketched the image in gimp, and used inkscape to even the lines. Resulting in a much better result. I also added some shadows, etc.: >>820084

But word of advice… start from drawing simple sketches - no colors and no fancy effects to get a hand of your style.
