I’ve created a blind OC. Any tips on writing/drawing blind characters?

Not a problem. Prefer to say if something seems ‘off’, but I don’t want to put anyone off drawing. Just like to see people improve.
 
Reminds me of something I did on one of the comments sections a bit back. Posted a very early pic by the artists I’ve been chatting with, followed by a recent one. It really showed how much each had improved.

Damn. I wish there were still blogs open where one could get OCs critiqued. There used to be a few, one I would use was Fan-OC-Critique on Tumblr, but they’ve been inactive for like two years now. Are there any places you know of where I can get OCs critiqued? (I don’t even have very many OCs and mostly prefer canon characters. But y’know..)

As for the ‘crippled Dashie’, I’ll probably just have to superglue the hip. Can’t repair the hinge.

There’s always the OC Snowdrop you could take ideas from.  
Or possibly a pony version of ‘Daredevil’.

I’ve heard of some cases where the Minis fall apart right out of the packaging:

I know the Pinkie, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash,(before she broke it) were hard to stand up. The leg joints on them are/were too loose.
 
(And we have 3 of Fluttershy. My missus has the slightly bigger set with the cat and Angel Bunny in it).

I’ve heard about those problems too, still they seem like awesome, show-accurate figures. They made them in response to the dolls not selling (Which is sad in my opinion).

Don’t know if I should put a pic up here of the pile of dolls my daughter’s got. They’re all sat up together in our front room with the stage.
 
She’s got 2 Rainbow Dash, 2 Pinkies (Normal and Rainbow Rocks version), Fluttershy, Twilight, Applejack, (Can’t find her Rarity, it’s buried in a pile of other toys), Sunset Shimmer, Vinyl Scratch, Trixie, Lemon Zest, Sour Sweet, Sunny Flare, Lyra, Bon Bon, Roseluck, Adagio, Aria,and Sonata.
 
Plus 3 of her minis. Twilight, Applejack and Pinkie.
