I remember not long ago, I suggested a Studio Ghibli art challenge.  
Draw a crossover pic, best score wins.  
Sadly, hardly any takers.
 
Anyway, I watched “Spirited Away” with my son last night, and let it run to the titles.
 
Was rather surprised to see the big baby in that film was voiced by Tara Strong. Even more surprised no crossover art has arisen from that.
 
Guess I know what I’ll be drawing next.

Well, the crossover pic hasn’t been started, (mainly because a context for it is eluding me at the second), so ended up doodling Sonata Dusk.
 
Erring on the side of caution, I tagged it “suggestive”. That outfit….

Well, my latest doodle has scored significantly lower than I expected it to.

Perhaps the legs make her look too child-like for peoples’ tastes?

Not really seeing that myself, but it’s a possibility.
 
It may be down to the top of Sunny’s hair being all yellow too.
 
Another factor may be that I’m not known for more suggestive artwork, and those followers I’ve gained are after more of my usual stuff.

Something to bear in mind if I draw another like this. Had a request for an Adagio (laid on her front, probably a tastefully posed nude using her hair for some strategic coverage). Might try finding some pics online for reference for that one.
 
Then, back to my usual stuff.

i decided to do another solo pic, this time featuring the new banana pone from the most recent pony episode. Chiquita/Josephine’s looking a little lonely, she woukdn’t mind a little company. :P  

Tried making a full animation. I’m pretty pleased with the outcome. It wasn’t as much work as I expected either. Just tedious and I used a lot of tracing paper :P

The art’s not bad, although a few tufts of grass here and there would have helped on this pic I think.
 
Try adding some colour. I have uploaded uncoloured doodles before, then the colour versions later, and the colour ones always get a better score.

I was kinda pressed for time on the pic though, trying to upload it to EQD for the thing.  
I’ll add color to the next one to see how it looks.

Colored, or at least shaded/stylized, tend to do better because it’s more appealing from a thumbnail.

Based on feedback, my art is actually getting worse.

Your recent work is all traditional sketches/lineart, the thumbnails look very pale in browse mode and it’s hard to tell what’s going on, which I bet is a factor in the lower scores.

Try going over your original sketches with a fine line marker, then erase the original pencil sketch.  
It’ll be a lot clearer.

Or even a thicker marker. Tips:
